DeHash is a free online service that decrypts various types of hashes. Our extensive database allows us to quickly find matching plaintext for different type of hashes.

DeHash supports various hash types including MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512, Vbulletin, MyBB, Bcrypt, WordPress, and MYSQL, among others. We are continuously expanding our database to support more hash types based on user needs and demand.

No, we cannot guarantee that every hash will yield a plaintext match. Even tho we have the best hit-rate in the market, our database relies on precomputed hashes and known patterns. If your hash does not match any existing patterns or dictionary entries, it may not be cracked. However, we update our databases regularly to improve the chances of success.

With our tool you get the plaintext of our hash instantly, remember that for the average person, depending on the algorithm, it may take days or even not get cracked.

This mode allows you to search hashes, even of emails, in a basic paste and search format (max 5 for non-logged users and 50 for logged). Most hashes will be shown for free, others that are harder to get will be revealed at the cost of 1 credit (no matter the hash type).

This mode allows you to search many hashes (even of emails too) at same time. We will process the file and return you the plaintext of the found ones and also the still left to crack hashes, consuming 1 credit per found hash.

Our Escrow system is a full automated workflow from start to finish for paid hash recovery. There are 2 types of users, the "Uploaders" and the "Crackers". First an "Uploader" submits a file of hashes to the website, offering a reward for each hash cracked, once live, a "Cracker" tries to crack the hash and once cracked he submits the result. Our system will check it in the background for the validity of the submission and for each validated hash, the "Cracker" gets the reward for it.

While we offer up to free 5 searches per submit, more than that consumes credits, for more than 50 submits per search you will have to use the bulk search tool. Some complex hashes are also paid, which will consume 1 credit, no matter the hash type it is.

Yes, our service is legal since we don't store any PII. While we don't promote the use for illicit cases, we cannot know your purpose for cracking hashes, so you are completely responsible for the usage of cracked hashes.

Yes, we take privacy and security very seriously. We do not store or share submitted hashes or retrieved plaintexts with third parties. The information is used solely for the purpose of performing the hash lookup, and the results are delivered only to you.
